“Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” – W. Clement Stone

Think Big
During an economic recession it is easy for people to start thinking small and holding on to every penny they have. One of our most desirable needs is to feel secure. Unfortunately, this security comes at a price. Many times the need to feel secure is based on fear. Fear of losing your job. Fear of not having enough money to take care of your children. From a financial standpoint, it’s crucial that we understand the concept of thinking big. To put this in perspective, according to Forbes magazine, you aren’t “rich” until you earn an income of one million per year. There aren’t many jobs out there that will pay you one million per year. I’m sure most people aren’t looking to make that much, but if you take the limits off of your thought process, anything is possible.

Act Big
Thinking big is useless if you don’t take action. This is the step that most people ignore, make excuses, avoid, get depressed about, give up, half-step, lack persistence with, etc. It’s important that we face the harsh reality that if we continue to do the same thing day in and day out, we *WILL* be in the same place year after year. Whether you fail or not you must continue to make the effort to move forward. You can never bring back the time that you have wasted.

It’s good to take baby steps to learn which path you should take. As soon as you have the opportunity, take a giant leap to turn a small success to a large success.

Be Big
If we follow these steps day in and day out, we will reach our goals. Once we have reached our goals, we need to set higher and higher goals in order to keep growing. Being big is a relative term. Don’t worry about the goals of everyone else and their perceived status.

Do you feel like no matter how hard you try you never make any progress? You are definitely not alone. Let’s discuss it in the comments section below. There may be one thing that we can correct today that will completely change our lives.

It’s so true that taking action is necessary to achieving your goal. Just thinking about it won’t get it done. And taking baby steps is the best way not to get overwhelmed with making a change. As long as you’re making progress, no matter how little, you’re moving in the direction of your goal. And before long, you’re going to be amazed at how far you’ve come.

Thanks for stopping by Linda. This is definitely true. It is so easy for us to get distracted by “being too busy” in life that it passes us by.
